Overview

11084 – 34 hour - Qualified Pharmacy Assistant – Permanent Contract. We are looking to recruit a 34-hour Qualified Pharmacy Assistant on a permanent contract to work at our 477-branch located at Heysham Primary Care Centre, Middleton Way, Heysham, Morecambe, LA3 2LE.

The proposed shift pattern is:

  • Monday 10:00-18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
  • Tuesday 10:00-18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
  • Wednesday 10:00-18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
  • Thursday 09:00-14:00
  • Friday 09:00-18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
Responsibilities
  • Assist the business in providing an efficient, knowledgeable and friendly service to customers, with specific responsibility for providing support with the dispensing and labelling of prescription items.
  • Receive prescriptions and hand out prescription items.
  • Assist with the ordering and management of stock levels within the dispensary.
Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Pharmacy Services is essential.
  • Skills in planning, attention to detail and working under pressure are required.
  • Great people skills are essential as you will work as part of a well-established team to ensure customers receive a high standard of service.
