1:1 Teaching Assistant for Year 4 Child (ASD & PDA Profile)
Location: Uckfield, East Sussex
Hours: 12:00 PM - 3:30 PM (Part-time)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Contract: Temporary with the potential to become permanent

Randstad, in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Uckfield, is seeking a dedicated and resilient 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a child in Year 4 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and a Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) profile.

The Role
  • Hours: 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM (Monday to Friday)
  • Support Focus: Working one-on-one with a child in Year 4 who has ASD and PDA.
  • Challenges: The child can exhibit challenging behaviors and requires a patient, understanding, and consistent approach.
  • Long-Term Commitment: This role has the potential to transition from temporary to permanent for the right candidate.
