The School and Role

A welcoming Primary School in the Allerton area is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Support Assistant to work with a non-verbal child in a Year 1 class.

The school is looking for an experienced professional with a background in SEND support. Experience using Makaton is highly desirable, though not essential. This inclusive school is proud of its nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued and supported to succeed. Their most recent Ofsted inspection graded the school as Good overall, with Outstanding for personal development, reflecting their strong ethos and commitment to pupils wellbeing.

Responsibilities

The successful Support Assistant will have:
