Job summary

A primary school in Wandsworth seeks a 1:1 Speech and Language Teaching Assistant to support students facing speech and language challenges. Qualifications

• Keen to make a positive impact on students’ social, emotional, and mental health.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 and in small groups with students who have speech and language difficulties.
• Support students who have ASD, learning difficulties, ADHD, and dyslexia.
• Manage classroom behaviour and provide extra tuition.

Skills

Understanding of the SEN framework

Experience working with children or young people

Confident, patient, and personable

Education

1st Class or 2:1 Degree from a reputable university
