Job summary
A leading engineering firm in Île-de-France is seeking an Offshore Structure Engineer to conduct structural studies for the OMV project. The role involves offshore steel frame modeling using Staad Pro and SACS, performing regulatory checks, and preparing calculation reports. Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an offshore structural engineer.
- Experience in offshore topside EPC projects is necessary.
- Calculation experience on Staad Pro and SACS software is mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Modeling offshore steel frames using Staad Pro & SACS.
- Conduct regulatory structural checks in transport fatigue.
- Design reinforcements and modifications as needed.
- Write calculation reports summarizing results.
- Transfer information for development of structural plans.

The purpose of this specification is to define the conditions for the performance of the services relating to the offshore structural studies to be carried out by the SERVICE PROVIDER in the context of the OMV project.
- Offshore steel frame modeling on Staad Pro & SACS
- Regulatory structural checks in transport fatigue
- Design of possible reinforcements and modifications to be made
- Writing the calculation report summarizing the results of the calculation
- Transfer of the information necessary for the development of the structural plans
- Mastery of the specificities of offshore structural design and analysis.
- Mastery of offshore installation know‑how.
- Mastery of applicable codes (API, AISC, etc.).
- Knowledge of Staad Pro & SACS offshore structural analysis software.
- Ability to apply project procedures, including document circulation, strict procedure application, and standards, rules, and study instructions of the project.
- Technical English comprehension (reading/understanding of technical documents).
- Technical reporting capacity to the Business Manager.
For this mission, the SERVICE PROVIDER must put in place personnel with a minimum of 2 years of experience as an offshore structural engineer on offshore topside EPC projects. Calculation experience on Staad Pro and SACS software is necessary and mandatory.
