- Position: Mathematics Expert – Contract, Remote
- Flexible hours, 5-6 week engagement
- Strengthen AI systems’ reasoning capabilities through rigorous problem-solving and theorem-based evaluation.
- Solve and evaluate challenging mathematics problems across diverse fields.
- Review AI-generated proofs and solutions for correctness and rigor.
- Provide structured feedback to improve mathematical reasoning models.
- Collaborate with AI research teams to enhance model outputs.
- Recent PhD in Mathematics (within past 4 years) OR PhD candidate ≥2 years into program.
- Enrolled in or graduated from a top 30 mathematics program.
- Active in research/academia or recently engaged (within the past 4 years).
- Strong background in advanced problem-solving, with ability to clearly articulate reasoning, reference theorems, and identify gaps in writing.
- Remote and asynchronous — set your own schedule.
- Flexible, project-based engagements.
- Competitive hourly compensation, commensurate with your background & experience.
- Independent contractor arrangement.
