A leading company in wind energy is seeking a skilled technician for wind turbine maintenance in Nantes. The role involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and preparing detailed maintenance reports. Candidates should possess a higher technical education related to electromechanics and at least 3 years of relevant experience. This position offers a permanent contract after the probation period, company vehicle, and opportunities for continuous professional development.

Qualifications

Main Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance operations according to manufacturer protocols, ensuring the correct functioning of all wind turbine components.
  • Carry out corrective maintenance interventions for the identification, fault diagnosis, and resolution of issues in the electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems of wind turbines.
  • Implement and verify compliance with safety protocols and environmental standards during all interventions, ensuring work practices that minimize environmental impact and guarantee team safety.
  • Prepare detailed reports on the interventions performed, documenting the operations carried out, replaced parts, and anomalies detected in the control system.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of technical improvements to optimize the performance of assigned wind farms.
Technical and Personal Skills
  • Higher technical education in electromechanics, electrotechnics, mechanics, or equivalent (Industrial Technician Diploma, Short Degree in Engineering, etc.)
  • Proven experience of at least 3 years in wind turbine maintenance
  • Advanced knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems applied to wind energy
  • GWO certification and occupational safety (preferred)
  • Knowledge of English (preferred)
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools specific to the wind sector
  • Knowledge of renewable energy and sustainability principles
  • Ability to interpret technical diagrams and manufacturer manuals
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work both in a team and independently
  • Willingness to travel and to carry out interventions in various wind farms at national and international level
  • Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
