Overview
Join Egis and contribute to the performance of an international network of 30 highway companies. Egis Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Road aims to double its size within 4 years. We operate on highways in 30 countries (Kazakhstan, Greece, Mexico, Portugal, Congo, etc.) and support our subsidiaries on all technical and strategic levers of operations and maintenance.
We are looking for a toll expert capable of evolving practices towards fluid tolling (free flow), while bringing differentiating value in tenders and animating our community of operators. You will contribute to identifying, promoting, and implementing best practices in tolling (free flow, automatic tolling, manual tolling, GNSS, revenue audits, flow reconciliation) within Egis road operating companies, providing a strategic, technical, and operational vision. Reporting to the Director of Operations and Maintenance Roads, your main missions will be described below.
Responsibilities
- 1. Business Line Outreach
- Write white papers, articles, and present at international conferences.
- Be the spokesperson for Egis expertise to attract investors and partners.
- 2. Toll Expertise
- Be the reference on all toll technologies:
- Manual tolling: operational processes, security, personnel and cash management.
- Automatic tolling: supervision, equipment reliability, maintenance.
- Fluid tolling (free flow): migration strategy, technological choices (cameras, LAPI, GNSS), impacts on revenue and fraud.
- Conduct benchmarks between Egis companies and monitor market technology developments.
- Define operational, revenue audit, and quality control procedures.
- 3. Support for Tenders
- Co-build offers with the Tender Unit.
- Challenge technical and pricing solutions, integrate innovative proposals.
- Adapt toll system choices to the local context (regulations, technological maturity).
- Write part of the tender documents at the request of the Tender Unit.
- 4. Project Launch and Support
- Structure operational plans for new contracts: equipment, procedures, performance indicators.
- Support subsidiaries in the choice, installation, and start-up of toll systems.
- Ensure consistency between toll strategy, operations, maintenance, and economic performance.
- 5. Animation of the Network of 30 Companies
- Identify and disseminate best practices on all types of tolling.
- Conduct audits, diagnose performance gaps, propose action plans.
- Participate in working groups (WG), capitalize via the internal Data Cockpit tool, and animate the toll community.

Regular travel in France and abroad is expected.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Graduate of an engineering school or business school.
- If engineer profile: confirmed experience in project management or technical operations.
- If commercial profile: required experience in project management in operational or technological environments.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the tolling universe, with significant exposure to automatic and free flow tolling.
Technical Skills
- Solid understanding of the operational context, flows, and tolling technologies (manual, automatic, free flow, GNSS, revenue audit).
- Ability to structure business plans, model performance hypotheses.
- Comfortable with the design, implementation, and optimization of toll systems.
- Strong appetite for project management in a demanding multicultural environment.
- Intrapreneurial, autonomous, structured temperament, capable of advancing topics with agility.
- Recognized technical credibility for dialogue with field teams, partners, and clients.
- Solid understanding of O&M issues, operational performance, and tenders.
Relational Skills
- Excellent team spirit and ease in intercultural environments.
- Autonomy, agility, ability to advance topics with leadership without hierarchical link.
- Ability to project a professional image of Egis at all times.
Managerial & Behavioral Skills
- Ability to lead a transverse project team in a complex and multicultural environment.

Languages
- Fluent English mandatory (oral and written – conferences, writing, network animation).
- French is an asset, not mandatory.
- A third language would be appreciated in an international context.
