A leading global food safety company is seeking an experienced Commercial Project Manager in Puteaux. You will lead large industrial projects, ensuring timely delivery and managing stakeholder relationships. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of project management experience, preferably in food, pharma, or oil & gas industries, and strong leadership skills. This role requires willingness to travel up to 50% within France and Benelux.

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Project Manager to join a highly skilled team. The ideal candidate has led equipment installation projects for external clients in sectors such as food, pharma, or oil & gas.

They will ensure each project phase is delivered on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction. Stakeholder interactions will vary depending on influence levels, as defined in the project communication plan. Stakeholders include: project sponsor, external clients, users, vendors, business partners, functional managers, and business unit leaders.

The role reports to the PMO Team Lead for France & Benelux and is based in La Défense, Paris.

What you will do
  • Lead large industrial projects at client sites (processing and packaging)
  • Ensure project delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards
  • Manage scope, milestones, and contractual deliverables
  • Apply global tools and processes to improve project efficiency
  • Handle scope changes, claims, and client communication
  • Support commercial activities through technical presentations
  • Document project progress and lessons learned
  • Lead project teams and provide performance feedback
  • Participate in project reviews and maintain PMP certification
We believe you have
  • Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or Food Science (preferred)
  • 3+ years of industrial project management experience with external clients
  • Background in food, pharma, or oil & gas industries
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Comfortable navigating complex cultural and political environments
  • Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, SAP; basic AutoCAD skills
  • Experience in budgeting and project planning
  • Able to manage client-site projects independently
  • Customer-focused, analytical, and resilient under pressure
  • Willing to travel up to 50% in France and Benelux
