Talent Acquisition Specialist – EmpowerHome (Chantilly, VA)

EmpowerHome is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to help us attract, engage, and hire top talent that fuels our company’s growth. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in building a high-performing team by sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and delivering a seamless hiring experience.

Reporting to the Director of Growth, this position is perfect for a proactive, detail-oriented recruiting professional who is passionate about connecting people with the right opportunities. Responsibilities
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates for a variety of positions within EmpowerHome.
  • Conduct phone, video, and in-person interviews to assess skills, culture fit, and long-term potential.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates while tracking daily interviews and candidate progress.
  • Monitor recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill and conversion rates, and report regularly to the Director of Sales Operations.
  • Partner with leadership to understand hiring needs and refine job requirements.
  • Use job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and recruiting tools (such as Brokermetrics) to attract top talent.
  • Manage and execute recruiting events (virtual and in-person), including coordinating email and social media marketing.
  • Ensure an excellent candidate experience with clear communication and timely follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with the Growth Department and stakeholders to improve hiring strategies and processes.
  • Follow up with interviewers to ensure notes, next steps, and CRM updates are completed.
  • Send agreements to qualified candidates promptly.
  • Respond to emails in a professional and timely manner.
  • Support agents in transferring licenses, onboarding, and integrating into EmpowerHome’s systems.
  • Add new hires to calendar invites and Slack channels.
  • Work with leadership to plan and coordinate EmpowerUp events.
Qualifications
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with candidates and leadership.
  • Experience in high-growth industries (real estate, sales, business development preferred).
  • Proven experience conducting interviews and assessing candidate qualifications.
  • Familiarity with recruiting tools, CRMs, job boards, and Google Workspace.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR experience (real estate or sales recruiting experience a plus).
  • Knowledge of sourcing strategies, recruitment marketing, and pipeline management.
  • Ability to analyze recruiting data and recommend improvements.
Compensation

$48,000 + Bonus
