We are hiring a Full-Stack Apprentice for the Tooling team from January 2026 to January 2027. We work with Deezers non-technical teams to understand their day‑to‑day spot pain points and build practical tools that save time, reduce risk and help them make better decisions.

Our scope ranges from lightweight script automations to full web applications dashboards and workflow orchestration. We value autonomy, curiosity and a product mindset as much as code quality.

You’ll take end‑to‑end ownership of small to medium features: from discovery and scoping with stakeholders to development, deployment and monitoring. You’ll be encouraged to challenge assumptions, propose designs, iterate quickly and ship value safely.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with internal teams to understand their workflows, pain points and success metrics.
• Clarify requirements, map processes and define MVPs.
• Propose UX / UI flows, wireframes and pragmatic technical designs.
• Implement back‑end and front‑end features, integrations and data handling.
• Set up logging, monitoring and basic alerting to ensure stability.
• Contribute to our engineering practices: SOLID, testing, code reviews, documentation, CI/CD.
• Participate in product decisions, share solutions and proactively suggest improvements.
• Maintain and iterate on existing tools in our portfolio.

Qualifications

• Fullstack mindset and willingness to work across product, data, backend, frontend and ops concerns.
• Experience with PHP and a curiosity to learn (you will be tested during the interview process). Proficiency in React, Typescript and Golang are a plus.
• Full working proficiency in English and French
• Autonomy on small, well‑scoped tasks and the ability to break down ambiguous problems.
• Curiosity, creativity and a critical eye: you propose designs, challenge requirements and strive for simplicity.
• Strong collaboration and communication with non‑technical stakeholders.
