Description du poste
Overview

At Alstom, we understand transport networks and what moves people.

From high-speed trains, metros, monorails, and trams, to turnkey systems, services, infrastructure, signalling and digital mobility, we offer our diverse customers the broadest portfolio in the industry.

Every day, more than 80 000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon impact.

The TIS Saint-Ouen site employs around 1,000 people responsible for developing systems and deploying signalling projects, mainly for the French market and also in support of international operations. The site works closely with the Villeurbanne (France) and Bangalore (India) locations.

The CSY Saint-Ouen site employs 400 people responsible for installing signalling, track, and catenary systems, primarily for the French market.

We are looking for a Site Continuous Improvement Manager for both sites.

Your Role

After an onboarding phase, you will join the site committee (COSITE) and play a key role in transforming business practices for a concrete and lasting impact.

On a daily basis, you will lead continuous improvement projects on a variety of topics.

You will focus particularly on process streamlining, root cause analysis of project delays, and optimizing collaborative practices.

Responsibilities

For our signalling and railway infrastructure sites in Saint-Ouen:

  • Consolidate the multi-year improvement plan based on existing initiatives
  • Unite and lead a community around the improvement plan, creating a collective dynamic
  • Share best practices and promote a culture of progress
  • Lead continuous improvement projects (Kaizen, Lean-Six Sigma)
  • Analyze root causes of encountered problems and implement preventive and corrective actions
  • Optimize key processes, such as capturing contractual requirements or prototyping complex functions
  • Raise team awareness and support change
  • Create a favorable context for continuous improvement
  • Contribute to the evolution of business practices toward excellence standards
Technical Subcontracting Performance

For the TIS Saint-Ouen site:

  • Develop the subcontracting plan
  • Participate in the consultation/selection phase and validate choices
  • Coordinate and report on subcontracting performance via a dashboard
  • Contribute to the implementation and achievement of objectives set in improvement plans
  • Support procurement in deploying the study subcontracting process and best practices to stakeholders
Your Profile

We value passion and mindset more than experience. Therefore, we don’t expect you to have all the skills listed. Instead, we’ve outlined those we believe will help you succeed and thrive in this role:

  • A degree in engineering, management, or equivalent, ideally with Green Belt or Black Belt certification
  • Concrete examples of transformation projects or Kaizen initiatives
  • Ability to influence and unite without direct hierarchical authority
  • Natural leadership and strong analytical skills
  • Strong ability to work in the field and understand operational needs
  • Excellent teaching and communication skills
  • A strong interest in project-based work, with a structured and collaborative approach

You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.

We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud.

If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
