Job title: Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack)

Location: Boulogne – Billancourt, Paris, hybrid working with 3 days in the office/2 days wfh

We’re now looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join this collaborative group. About the Role
  • Independently pick up and deliver sprint tickets with a strong focus on code quality, performance, and maintainability.
  • Take ownership of specific components within the system architecture, gaining a deep understanding of how services interact, including underlying AWS infrastructure.
  • Contribute to architectural discussions and support the evolution of the platform, identifying areas for improvement or optimisation.
  • Follow established coding standards, and conduct code reviews for team, providing feedback to uphold engineering quality across the team.
  • Contribute to automated testing, including writing and maintaining test cases, and help evolve the team’s testing practices to ensure system reliability.
  • Assume responsibility during system issues, assisting in troubleshooting and taking the lead where necessary to restore functionality.
  • Actively engage in team ceremonies such as sprint planning, and pair programming, contributing to a collaborative environment.
What makes a successful candidate?
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 4 or more years’ experience with working on API based back-end systems preferably related to media management or live video workflows
  • Experience with event driven architecture
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code
  • Experience with relational and non-relation (NoSQL) database systems
  • Experience with AWS and key components such as Lambda, S3, EventBridge and DynamoDB
  • Familiar with React
  • Good communication skills to facilitate requirements analysis, and articulate technical trade-offs
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English
