The Role

Senior Partner Marketing & Field Activation Manager, EMEA

Proofpoint is looking for a talented Senior Partner Marketing & Field Activation Manager, EMEA who can partner with our EMEA Marketing teams, Channel Sales teams and Commercial Sales teams (Mid-Market), to produce and manage pan-EMEA Partner Marketing programs, tools and integrated campaigns designed to boost lead generation, enable Channel sales & SEs, and promote Proofpoint solutions and brand through Distribution. This person will also support specific Partner groups such as EMEA Distributors & GSIs on a pan-EMEA level.

Our ideal candidate is a talented partner marketing professional who’s worked closely with a diverse set of colleagues in sales and marketing on an international level, someone with good interpersonal skills, who can think Channel and be Customer-focused at the same time. The successful candidate can also develop integrated channel marketing and sales programs to support the collaboration of regional Proofpoint teams with Partners’ team, to generate pipeline and accelerate sales closing – aiming to increase sales frequency and average order value.

We are seeking a business-minded marketer with excellent organisational skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of an organisation across multiple EMEA countries. The programs and campaigns are to be created in English before being translated into 4 other languages, so an excellent English speaking and written level is crucial.

Reporting into the Senior Director of Channel Marketing, EMEA, you will be part of a highly experienced Channel Marketing team, collaborating with our EMEA Regional Channel sales and marketing teams, as well as our global Partner Program team, to achieve joint business development goals.

Your day-to-day
  • Develop & manage integrated channel sales programs and lead-generation campaigns to support collaboration of regional Proofpoint teams with Partners’ teams, generate pipeline and accelerate sales closing, increase sales frequency and average order value in the Mid-Market segment particularly.
  • Create packaged plays and campaigns for Field Marketing teams to roll out, owning coordination and execution across regions.
  • Manage the launch and roll-out of these EMEA Partner sales programs & marketing campaigns, working directly with sales teams in regions and with the regional Marketing Managers.
  • Measure and report on results, working with sales & marketing ops.
  • Ensure channel programs and campaigns are clearly defined end-to-end: from goals to deliverables, production, translation, and internal/external launch.
What you bring to the team
  • Experience planning, producing, and running international partner sales and marketing activities for large B2B organizations, ideally within Tech / SAAS. Experience in Cyber Security is a plus.
  • Proven ability to partner with sales, technical and marketing teams to create and execute integrated marketing programs.
  • A natural team player and service-oriented mindset for internal customers.
  • Track record of delivering channel and partner marketing results with strong field focus, B2B expertise, and analytical mindset.
  • Strong English language written, verbal, and presentation skills. Copywriting and presenting in English is required. Proficiency in other EMEA languages is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of B2B marketing mix including social, digital and online channels.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to create and roll out simple processes to structure cross-functional communications, campaigns and reporting.
  • Ability to work daily within an international team with diverse cultures and languages.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce and a marketing automation tool (e.g., Marketo) is highly valued.
