A leading AI infrastructure company in Paris seeks a Senior IT Technician to oversee IT support in the data centre. Responsibilities include managing server and network infrastructure, resolving technical issues, and collaborating with teams. • Requires extensive experience working with server/network hardware in data centres.
• Proven track record in planning and resolving complex technical issues.
• Command of Linux CLI tools and enterprise-level hardware.
• Strong English written and spoken fluency required.
• Advanced Excel capabilities needed, including formulas and charting.

Overview

Senior IT Technician - France, Paris - Permanent Contract

QCS staffing are partnered with one of the world’s top AI infrastructure companies. As an organisation, our client are leading a new era in cloud computing to serve the global AI economy. They create the tools and resources for their customers requirement to solve real-world challenges and transform industries, without massive infrastructure costs or the need to build large in-house AI/ML teams.

To support our client’s continued growth, they are currently looking to hire a Senior IT Technician to help assist their Paris based project.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT support tasks across the data centre - including planning, escalations, diagnostics, and issue resolution.
• Manage installation, upgrade, and removal of server and network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to define root causes and implement hardware fixes.
• Draft and maintain operational procedures, technical reports, and documentation.
• Monitor and report on IT performance metrics, maintenance activities, and ticket statuses.
• Provide continuity in escalation support and act as a point of technical leadership on-site.

• Strong English written and spoken fluency.
