Our multinational end client in Lausanne is now looking for a Senior IT PMO to ensure strategic execution, operational consistency, and delivery maturity across IT and Digital initiatives. This is the opportunity to join a leader in its field and take part in a global digital transformation. Fluent French is needed.

You will play a central role in driving governance, oversight, and execution discipline across the IT project portfolio. This role ensures that projects are aligned with business priorities, delivered within agreed scope, budget, and timelines, and supported by consistent processes, tools, and reporting. You will own portfolio steering, enforce project delivery standards, coach key delivery actors, and act as the interface between PMO, controlling, and cross-functional business and digital teams.

THE ROLE
  • Oversee the governance framework for the IT project portfolio, ensuring alignment with business and technology strategies.
  • Establish, maintain, and continuously improve PMO standards, methodologies, and tools (e.g., project lifecycle, reporting, risk management).
  • Provide executive-level reporting on portfolio status, KPIs, budget, and resource utilization.
  • Partner with IT leadership and business stakeholders to prioritize initiatives and optimize delivery sequencing.
  • Support project managers in applying best practices, identifying risks / issues, and resolving escalations.
  • Ensure financial tracking and forecasting discipline across the portfolio (CapEx / OpEx, vendor costs, internal allocations).
  • Drive continuous improvement and maturity of PMO processes (agile, hybrid, waterfall as applicable).
  • Act as a trusted advisor to CIO, IT leadership, and steering committees.
YOUR PROFILE

10+ years of experience in IT project / program management, with at least 5 years in a PMO leadership or governance role.

Proven track record managing large-scale IT programs (infrastructure, applications, digital transformation, or data).

Strong understanding of project portfolio management, governance frameworks, and financial controls.

Skilled in stakeholder management at senior leadership level; confident communicator with executive presence.

Solid knowledge of methodologies (PMI, PRINCE2, MSP, SAFe, or equivalent).

Experience working in complex, international, and matrixed environments.

Fluent in French & English
