A leading company in the gaming industry is seeking a General Accountant to join their Accounting team in Paris. This role involves managing various accounting tasks including ledger analysis, tax preparations, and month-end reporting. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of accounting experience, proficiency in Excel, and a strong command of English. You will work under the Accounting Manager within a supportive team environment, participating actively in the enhancement of operational procedures.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in accounting.
• Knowledge of an ERP system and proficiency in Excel.
• Advanced level in English mandatory with prior experience in an international environment.

Responsabilités

• Record, reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and file various tax declarations.
• Perform monthly closing activities and reporting for 3 French entities.

Description du poste

As a General Accountant, you will be working with the Accounting team to ensure the completion and accuracy of accounting and tax entries.

What it means on a daily basis

Accounting:

• Record, reconcile and analyse general ledger accounts,
• Review and approve supplier invoices.

Treasury:

• Manage bank transactions and intercompany related bank operations,
• Reconcile banks and handle multi-currency operations.

Tax:

• Prepare and file various tax declarations (TVA / CVAE / IS / DAS2…) and reportings for the Banque of France
• Prepare the Tax package for 3 entities on Cegid software

Month-end closing : Perform monthly closing activities and reportings independently for 3 French entities.

Procedure: Participate to the improvement of accounting and operational procedures.
