A leading autism support organization in France is seeking a Senior Facilitator to support individuals with autism. The ideal candidate will have a full QQI level 7 Award in Social Care or a relevant degree, and will demonstrate a strong understanding of the needs and rights of those they support. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities and community engagement. The position offers various benefits such as health insurance and paid leave.

Essential criteria for the position of Senior Facilitator:

  • A full QQI level 7 Award in Social Care/ Studies Or Relevant 3rd Level Qualification at degree level ie; Social Work, Psychology is essential
  • Awareness of key worker role and philosophy surrounding support to people with complex needs.
  • Proven experience in the implementation and development of support/care plans and PCP’s
  • Available to work shifts on a rota basis
  • Permission to work in Ireland essential

Qualifications required for a Senior Facilitator:

A full QQI level 7 Award in Social Care/ Studies Or Relevant 3rd Level Qualification at degree level i.e.; Social Work, Psychology is essential, (or relevant qualification received outside the state recognised by NARIC equivalent to Irish level 7)

Skills/Abilities required of a Senior Facilitator:

  • Awareness of key worker role and philosophy surrounding support to people with complex needs.
  • Proven knowledge of current legislation and regulations relating to the Social Care Sector
  • Understanding of the needs and rights of individuals with autism
  • Proven ability to work on own initiative
  • Proven experience in the implementation and development of support/care plans and PCP’s
  • Places the needs of the person supported as the key focus in all activities
  • Delivers support according to the person’s PCP and care plan.
  • Fluent English and excellent communication skills
