Main Responsibilities :

• Design, plan, and conduct biotransformation studies to support the development of drug candidates
• Lead metabolic profiling and metabolite identification studies using advanced analytical techniques, ensuring high data quality and reproducibility
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional project teams, including chemistry, pharmacology, toxicology, and regulatory affairs, to integrate biotransformation data into overall development strategies
• Interpret experimental results and present scientific findings to internal and external stakeholders, providing technical and strategic insights
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of experimental procedures, data, and analyses
• Stay up to date with the latest scientific and technological advancements in the field of biotransformation, and apply relevant innovations to ongoing projects
• Contribute to the successful transition of drug candidates from preclinical to clinical development, with a focus on small molecule programs
• Ensure alignment of biotransformation studies with regulatory expectations and development timelines

Requirements

About You :

• Experience : Proven ability to thrive in collaborative, fast-moving environments (talent matters most to us!). Relevant experience in R&D, specifically in biotransformation, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
• Skills : Strong technical expertise in enzymology, drug metabolism pathways, and analytical techniques such as LC-HRMS / MS and LC-Radio detection, proven track record in conducting studies in an R&D environment, with solid experience in the development phase, including work on clinical samples.
• Education : PhD in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Pharmacology, or related field.
• Languages : Fluent in written and spoken English and French.
