We are currently seeking a Senior Clinical Trial Assistant (CTA) to join our diverse and dynamic team.

As a Senior CTA at ICON plc, you will play a key role in supporting the management and execution of clinical trials by handling a range of administrative and operational tasks. You will contribute to the smooth execution of clinical trials through efficient coordination, documentation, and communication with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

A) Data & Trackers (≈50%)

  • Update local trackers and ensure data quality.
  • Extract and assemble performance data from systems (CTMS/eTMF/SSU/NCV, local sources).
  • Perform an initial sanity check of performance elements; Escalate gaps/points of attention to the S&Om responsible for performance.

B) Patient recruitment – contribution to the provider deployment plan (≈20%)

  • Logistical and operational assistance with the deployment of the provider deployment plan and implementation within SSO in collaboration with the S&Om responsible for this activity (For example: Monitoring the study implementation plan, extracting data from the CTMS, updating the KLNEO system, etc.).

C) Logistical support and assistance to the SSOLT team (≈30%)

  • Booking rooms for internal meetings, team meetings, and one‑off events.
  • Organizing SSO management team meetings: sending invitations, managing availability, preparing materials, tracking attendance.
  • Supporting the organization of internal events (workshops, training sessions, townhalls, etc.).
Qualifications

You will need:

  • 3‑4 years of experience in clinical research, with knowledge of the environment (to be in ability to understand numbers).
  • Ease of data analysis: Advanced Excel (pivot tables), Power BI skills (loading/refreshing).
  • Organized, rigorous, and good communication skills, able to adapt to a matrix organization.
  • Fluency in French and professional proficiency in English.
