What You'll Do as a Senior Transportation Project Manager

• Proactively pursue new business with existing and prospective clients.
• Successfully lead mid-to-large-scale transportation projects.
• Manage project budgets, scope, schedule, and staffing.
• Lead design strategy and collaborate with teams, clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Oversee project billing, client updates, QA/QC of deliverables, and project closeout.
• Provide clear direction, motivation, and mentorship to team members.
• Prepare winning project proposals and serve as primary client contact.
• Successfully navigate and implement complex public processes and municipal approvals.
• Represent Fisher Associates in professional organizations, business boards, and community activities.
• Maintain knowledge of design software for effective team collaboration.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering (Masters).
• 10+ years in civil transportation engineering, including project management of DOT-funded highway and bridge projects.
• Professional Engineering License (PE) or ability to obtain it.
• Proven client relationship and business development skills in transportation sector.
• Proficiency in MS Office; MicroStation, and Familiarity with NYDOT or PennDOT design standards.
