Qualifications

Description du poste

Job Responsibilities

1. Define the commodity strategy (COMMS) for your area by analyzing industry and demand trends, and support the commodity leader in developing and implementing sourcing strategies.
2. Manage relationships within your supplier panel.
3. Handle contract negotiations and relationships with suppliers during bidding processes.
4. Source new suppliers within your scope.
5. Oversee the performance of your supplier panel, resolving issues and concerns as they arise.
6. Serve as the purchasing interface for projects and engineering during the development phase, from supplier nomination to start of production.
7. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
8. Research and identify prospective suppliers.
9. Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements. The role includes sourcing new suppliers at optimal QCDP, meeting program price targets, negotiating purchase terms, and evaluating supplier performance.
10. Support the commodity leader and purchasing manager in developing and implementing sourcing strategies.

Required Knowledge

• Engineering degree with knowledge of software is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a program or commodity buyer or in a similar role.

Skills

• Knowledge of the automotive industry.
• Experience with contract management (data privacy, intellectual property, etc.) is a plus.
