A global technology company is seeking a Sales Development Representative to engage potential clients and lead outbound telemarketing initiatives. Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably within IT environments, and be skilled at forging relationships with senior executives. The role requires fluency in English and involves market research, identification of key clients, and event follow-ups. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic sector within a technology-focused team.

Overview

Contract Position

Responsibilities
  • Identify high potential clients
    • Understand our position and value proposition in each vertical
    • Conduct LinkedIn and market research based on instructions provided by BDM
    • Create a list of high potential clients and 2-3 compelling reasons to reach out
    • Nurture the high potential clients and build the trust & relationship
  • Lead generation
    • Outbound telemarketing into target verticals for Alibaba Cloud solutions
    • Qualify and setup meetings (BANT qualified)
    • Client and partner event registration in (Country)
    • Event acquisition
    • Reminder calls
    • Follow up post event for qualification
  • Database cleansing for local lists of clients and partners
Requirements
  • At least 3 - 5 years of working experience;Bachelor's degree and above
  • Previous sales experience (preferably in an IT environment working as a Sales Development Representative)
  • Education in a technology or computer subject is an advantage but not essential
  • Interest in the technology industry and knowledge of the local and global IT market
  • Ability to forge relationships quickly
  • Comfortable on the phone with senior executives from multinational companies
  • Quick thinker and ability to react to changing conversation and different personalities
  • Master fluent English
