You will provide legal expertise to support financial continuity and drive supplier partnerships, working collaboratively within diverse teams. As an experienced attorney, you will provide expert advice on restructuring, reorganization and insolvency matters of our suppliers, with a focus on Private Equity partnerships:
This permanent role must be located in Lyon (FR) or Gothenburg (SW).
You will report to the Head of Supplier Financial Risk & Restructuring (SFR) within the Business Controlling group at Volvo Trucks Purchasing. SFR is responsible for: (a) monitoring the financial risks posed by the Volvo Group’s suppliers; (b) assessing the practical ramifications of those risks; (c) proactively pursuing, contributing to and evaluating the feasibility of restructuring solutions for certain distressed suppliers to ensure Volvo’s continued supply of parts and to protect Volvo’s financial interests; and (d) reactively responding to financial crisis situations, including in bankruptcy and pre-bankruptcy processes and procedures. The Restructuring team comprises legal, financial, M&A, consultancy, and other professionals with broad based experience in financial risk assessment, restructuring and distressed matters.
