Within the scope of responsibility :
To guarantee product and service compliance with internal and external requirements (standards compliance, legal requirements, customer expectations, etc.). To coordinate the monitoring of activities for compliance with the applicable quality procedures and methodologies to achieve operational performance and deliver customer satisfaction.
Supervise and manage the Quality team (controllers, if applicable). Assign the allocated resources according to priorities and risks. Ensure product or service quality monitoring of the various programs: quality performance management in a PDCA cycle, program quality management, storeroom quality and management of parts control activities in reception and shipping, 8D problem-solving approach, support the qualification of special processes…
Identify and analyze quality problems and propose corrective actions. Generate alerts concerning risks and critical points while proposing appropriate safeguarding, corrective, or preventive actions. Be responsible for System Quality: management of the scope’s certifications (ISO / EN and specific), drafting and updating of QAP (quality assurance plans), ensuring high-quality communications, participation in internal audits or audits conducted by the division, customers, or authorities (civil aviation), etc.
Organize the audit schedule and supervise internal and external quality audits. Prepare specific certification or accreditation procedures and ensure the sustainability of the certifications in force. Ensure normative and regulatory monitoring. Ensure customer monitoring: preparation and presentation of customer quality meetings, performance management, management of customer satisfaction concerning production parts and spare parts, etc.
Promote performance improvement plans, continuous improvement culture, and best practices to employees. Validate the maturity of the projects with the Development teams during the transition to production. Support the Quality Study and Development teams to dimension and promote quality-related elements based on operational/sectoral data within their scope.
Lead and manage a team, ensuring employee skill development according to changing roles and organizational needs. Activities need to be adapted for employees on work-study placements (professionalization contracts, apprenticeship contracts, etc.) to align with their training.

Qualifications: 5-year degree-level qualification in aeronautics or mechanics. Minimum 5 years in quality.
