Job Title : Regulatory Affairs Consultant – Cosmetics / Commodities

Location : Remote

ClinChoice is searching for a Regulatory Affairs Consultant – Cosmetics / Commodities for 12 months Contract with possibility of extension to join one of our consumer product clients.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Affairs Consultant to support Clients France Regulatory Affairs (RA) team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in cosmetics and commodities regulatory requirements, with strong knowledge of French regulations. This role is critical in ensuring compliance of promotional materials, product claims, and packaging, while supporting health authority interactions and inspections.

Responsibilities
  • Review and approve promotional materials for regulatory compliance
  • Evaluate artworks and packaging to ensure alignment with applicable regulations
  • Conduct product claim assessments in accordance with EU and French cosmetic / commodities legislation
  • Provide support in responding to health authority queries and inspections
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, legal, and regulatory stakeholders
  • Stay current with regulatory developments, particularly in France and the EU
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Proven experience in Regulatory Affairs, preferably in cosmetics and / or commodities sectors
  • Strong understanding of EU and French regulations relevant to cosmetics and consumer products
  • Demonstrated ability to review and assess artworks, claims, and promotional materials
  • Experience supporting regulatory inspections or health authority queries
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Fluent in English; French proficiency is highly preferred
Preferred Experience
  • Background working with multinational companies or cross-regional RA teams.
  • Familiarity with EU Cosmetic Regulation (EC) No. 1223 / 2009 and INCI labeling requirements.
  • Knowledge of electronic artwork approval systems or promotional material review tools.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of relevant Regulatory Affairs experience
  • (with at least 2–3 years specifically in cosmetics and / or commodities )
