Salary range from $88k-$130k annually

Oncology Sales Representative Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Oncology Sales Representative will be to develop and manage a designated regional territory with the goal of maximizing and reaching sales forecasts. Expectations include being a self-starter, team player, and responsible for identifying, ranking, prospecting, and developing key oncology practices. This also includes hospital-based business relationships within the targeted regional territory of Washington, with customers including oncology physicians, cancer care hospitals, and clinics.

The Oncology Sales Representative will be mostly territory-based with travel as required to:

  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales goals
  • Identify key influencers and manage pipeline
  • Achieve designated call expectations with a focus on top targets
  • Deliver product presentations to customers
  • Maintain a high degree of technical expertise
  • Exhibit exceptional probing and consultative communication skills
  • Be familiar with oncology providers, drugs, clinics, and hospital communities
  • Understand oncology drug reimbursement
  • Be self-motivated and results-driven
  • Understand Managed Care Medical Specialty and PBM drug benefits

Required and Desired Skills:

We are seeking local candidates with current work experience and industry-related contacts statewide.

  • 5 to 10+ years of Medical and Pharmaceutical Sales experience
  • Oncology sales experience strongly desired
  • Current oncology sales experience and contacts in this territory
  • Familiarity with oncology providers, drugs, clinics, and hospital communities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
