A leading global engineering services provider is seeking a Project Control Engineer for its Major Projects in Doha, Qatar. The role involves planning, monitoring, and controlling project schedules, costs, and performance. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Engineering and over 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in petrochemical or fertilizer sectors. You will be responsible for promoting compliance with safety management systems, ensuring timely project delivery, and preparing status reports for stakeholders. JOB PURPOSE
The Project Control Engineer supports the Senior Project Control Engineer in planning, monitoring, and controlling Project cost, schedule, and progress performance across Major Projects, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations, Project objectives, and Company standards. The role assists in analyzing Project schedules, forecasts, and progress reports, enabling accurate tracking of Project performance and supporting informed decision‑making.
In addition, the role-holder is responsible for promoting, adhering to, and ensuring compliance with QAFCO’s Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental, Energy, and Quality management systems and standards, while coordinating effectively with other Project Team members to ensure successful Project delivery.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related discipline).
Professional certification in project management or controls (e.g., PMP, CCP) is preferred.
