Pullman & Mercure Brisbane King George Square is a large vibrant 438 room twin towered hotel which acts as a sanctuary for leisure and business travellers as well as a place to be with our external facing Venues.Located opposite King George Square, City Hall and ideally situated in the heart of Brisbane CBD the hotel has some of the largest conference spaces in Brisbane incorporating 2 ballrooms.

The hotel also features some amazing and extremely popular externally facing venues including Goldfinch Restaurant and Street Café, Sixteen Antlers Rooftop Bar as well as internal facing KG Bar, & Expresso Bar.

Job Description
  • Providing exceptional customer service by responding to their requestspromptly, efficiently and courteously during check-in, check-out and throughout their stay
  • Immediately attending to guest requests, and leading by example to other members of the team by being proactive and resourceful.
  • Assist with the running the night audit process including correctly posting all hotel’s revenue for the day, accurately identifying discrepancies and producing a complete night audit report thoroughly and accurately
  • Ensuring all the duties are completed
  • Assist in all areas of the hotel to eliminate potential issues including Food & Beverage operations
  • Maintaining procedures in relation to credit and cash transactions and accounting documentation.
Qualifications
  • Haveexperience with high volume and preferably luxuryservice
  • Have strong communication skills.
  • Havethe availability& flexibilityto work shifts across Monday to Sundayincluding public holidays;
  • Hold a full and open driver's license
  • You are able to manage your time and can handle juggling numerous tasks at once and have experience in managing large airline crew movements
  • Have experience in Opera, Microsoft word and outlook
  • Have experience in similar role within the hospitality / hotel industry
