Une entreprise de technologie et d'ingénierie de premier plan recherche un Lead Cost Control Engineer pour rejoindre son équipe à Nanterre. Vous serez responsable de l'estimation des coûts, du management d'équipe et du contrôle des performances financières. Ce rôle nécessite un diplôme en ingénierie et une expérience de 7 à 10 ans dans l'industrie, avec de solides compétences en leadership et en communication.

Qualifications

  • 7 à 10 ans d'expérience dans le domaine.
  • Expérience confirmée en ingénierie et construction dans un environnement de projet.
  • Compétences en communication orale et écrite en anglais.

Responsabilités

  • Estimer les coûts totaux du projet pour des projets complexes.
  • Diriger toutes les activités de contrôle des coûts dans un projet.
  • Préparer des rapports mensuels de gestion de projet.

We are currently seeking a Lead Cost Control Engineer M / F to join our Cost Control & Risk Management team based in Nanterre

About the mission we offer you :

Hierarchically reports to the Head of Cost Control Department and operationally reports to the Project Director / Manager or Project Control Manager, you will :

  • Estimate total project cost at completion for complex projects,
  • Develop, update and maintain project budget and forecasting
  • Lead all cost control activities within a project, monitore its financial performance

Main responsibilities

Management of the project cost control team

  • Sets up Cost Control Procedures
  • Sets up Budgets and the specific tools to follow the project costs
  • Implements the in-house digital solutions and their latest enhancements
  • Estimates Total Forecasts, Quantity / Costs and Expected Outcomes
  • Provides support to the Risk Manager to prepare the Quantitative Risk Analysis
  • Approves commitment control and vendor / subcontractors invoice
  • Assists Project Managers in optimizing and improving the budgeted profits
  • Prepares change orders / claims, and follows up
  • Generates monthly internal Project Management Review (PMR) / external status reports (client reports)
  • Support to Finance on hedging of foreign exchange rates risks
  • Develops statistical and close-out reports, with a view towards improving feedback data and estimation tools on future contracts / proposals
  • Contributes to lessons learnt through the project

Key Interactions

Directly supervises : Cost Controllers, Cost Engineers

Internally : Project Manager, Project Engineering, Procurement, Subcontracting, Construction, Finance and other internal departments as required

Externally : Client, potential partners, subcontractors, and vendors

About you :

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in related field
  • Confirmed experience (ideally 7 years minimum) in Engineering & Construction Industry within project environment.
  • Professional English (solid oral and written communication skills in English)
  • Rigorous
  • Solid analytical and problem solving skills
  • Team worker and able to chair meetings within multi-cultural teams and Clients
  • Natural skills to set up good networking and Team spirit
  • Natural leadership
  • Organized to work with efficiency in a time constraint environment

Seen as a plus :

  • Digital culture
  • Background in a technical engineering discipline.
  • Other experience in Project Control, such as : Risk Management, Scheduling, Estimating.
