We’re looking for a passionate and curious IT Scientific Systems Specialist to join our team. As an IT Scientific Systems Specialist at Evotec, you'll have the freedom to ask the hard questions, think outside the box, and find creative solutions that push us forward. It’s a role where your curiosity will fuel both your personal growth and the success of the team.
What You’ll Do:
The candidate supports scientific operations by addressing their informatics needs, including analysis, design, implementation, validation, and maintenance of scientific systems and applications, for both commercial and bespoke solutions; designs and implements software programs and scripts as needed. Collaborates directly with end-users for business/demand analysis; assists with the deployment and maintenance of laboratory systems, in particular ensuring compliance with user security and data integrity transfer requirements; contributes to international corporate informatics initiatives/projects; works closely with and aligns efforts alongside other R&D IT team members; operates with a good or high degree of autonomy, depending on the seniority.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide informatics support for deploying scientific applications and laboratory systems; ensure systems perform as intended; troubleshoot issues; and maintain system documentation.
Act as IT coordinator for small scientific system implementations or updates.
Engage with internal end-users and/or suppliers to gather requirements, design systems, and conduct user acceptance IT testing.
Ensure compliance with the internal Computer System Quality Management frameworks.
