Overview

Orano is a global operator in nuclear materials, providing solutions for current and future energy and health challenges. The Business Unit Recyclage is recruiting an engineer or PhD for the MOX (Mixed Oxide) fuel manufacturing mandate.

Responsibilities

• Act as a member of the Technical Authority (TA) and contribute to national and international projects for the manufacture of nuclear fuels, collaborating closely with the DTE experts.
• Develop deep technical expertise in ceramics, MOX fuel manufacturing by metalization powder metallurgy, and granular media modeling.
• Analyze process documentation and trial reports, participate in technical meetings, and support related programs and projects.
• Maintain active technology watch and identify key technologies for nuclear fuel manufacturing.
• Collaborate within the team, share analyses, and contribute to collective dynamics.

Location: Marcoule, MELOX industrial site, world‑reference facility for MOX fuel production.
