Candidates must be fluent in French and English and have proven HR experience in France.

Reporting To: Vice President of Human Resources (USA)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join an industry leading Aviation parts supplier, at their site in France. This role will play a critical part in delivering HR support across Europe and APAC, working closely with the Vice President of Human Resources in the United States.

The successful candidate will act as the primary HR point of contact for approximately 40 employees across multiple international locations, with a strong focus on French employment and labour law, while also developing knowledge of international HR practices, including the UK.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone comfortable operating in a fast-paced, international environment, supporting both operational and strategic HR activities.

Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Employee Relations
  • Act as the main HR contact for employees across France, Europe, and APAC
  • Manage day-to-day HR queries, employee relations matters, and HR best practice
  • Provide guidance to managers on performance management, absence, disciplinary, and grievance processes
  • Support employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, probation, and offboarding
Employment Law & Compliance

Ensure full compliance with French employment and labour law

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment regulations and HR requirements
  • Support and advise on UK employment law and other international HR matters as required
  • Work closely with US-based HR leadership to align local and global HR policies
Contracts & Documentation
  • Draft and issue employment contracts, offer letters, amendments, and HR documentation
  • Ensure all contracts and HR records are legally compliant and accurately maintained

Support with policy creation, updates, and implementation across regions

International HR Support
  • Develop a working knowledge of international employment law , particularly across Europe and APAC

Act as a trusted HR partner to regional managers and leadership teams

Support cross-border HR initiatives and global HR projects

HR Administration & Reporting
  • Manage HR records for approximately 40 employees across multiple regions

Maintain accurate employee data and HR files

  • Support HR reporting and documentation as required by senior HR leadership
Required Experience & Skills

Fluency in French and English (spoken and written) – essential

Proven experience working in an HR role within France

Strong knowledge of French employment and labour law

Experience drafting employment contracts and offer letters

  • Comfortable supporting employees across multiple countries and time zones
  • Willingness and ability to learn and apply international employment law , including the UK

Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills

Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to work independently

Experience supporting HR operations across Europe and/or APAC

Exposure to US-headquartered or multinational organisations

Experience working in an operational, hands-on HR environment
