This leadership role offers the opportunity to shape and scale service commercial operations across a complex and fast‑evolving European market. You will take ownership of defining strategy, building high‑performing teams, and driving profitable service growth across long‑term and ad‑hoc service offerings. Working in a highly international and cross‑functional environment, you will collaborate closely with technical, legal, finance, and delivery stakeholders. The role combines strategic planning with hands‑on commercial governance, ensuring strong risk control and operational excellence. You will play a central role in aligning service commercialization with regional business objectives. This position is ideal for a commercially minded leader who thrives in dynamic, high‑impact environments. Your work will directly support sustainable growth in the energy and services ecosystem.

Accountabilities
  • Build, lead, and develop the European service commercial management team, including organisational design, staffing, and performance management
  • Define and deliver annual business objectives for service offerings, including long‑term service agreements and non‑LTSA services, aligned with regional strategy
  • Standardise and oversee end‑to‑end service commercial processes, from early commercial insights through contract negotiation and order closing
  • Develop and implement tools, systems, and capability‑building initiatives for competitive analysis, cost modelling, and contract governance
  • Partner closely with R&D, Legal, Finance, and Project Delivery teams to ensure compliance, resolve cross‑functional issues, and support smooth execution
  • Drive market strategy, profitability, and risk control while minimising compliance, contractual, and penalty exposure
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business management, marketing, energy engineering, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of service experience within the new energy sector, such as solar PV or energy storage, with European market exposure preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience leading cross‑functional or regional teams with a track record of meeting or exceeding annual targets
  • Strong expertise in service commercial processes, pricing strategy, and financial analysis to support project and portfolio profitability
  • Fluent English at a professional working level; additional European languages are considered an advantage
  • Proven leadership, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to perform effectively in high‑pressure business environments
