At Bel, the vision for the Strategic Insights department (SI) is to become a competitive advantage for the company, running a Best-in-class Insights & Foresights factory, powered by big & smart data analytics. The Head of Global Business Analytics belongs to the global SI team, with a direct reporting line to the head of Strategic Insights for Bel group. The position is located in Suresnes, France.

Main Missions
  • Data strategy and management
    • Build & implement the data vision and data strategy – centered around key data sources: panel (retail & consumer), datasharing, e-com, OOH
    • Lead the global panel data acquisition & supplier relationship and leverage their thought leaderships and existing knowledge (at least make it available for the team)
  • Bel business analytics capabilities
    • Lead and animate the company data leveraging & capabilities programs, working with external partners to serve internal stakeholders
    • Collaborate with Data team, partners like Artefact, RGM team, …
    • One of the big projects to lead will be about the ROI measurement of our activation (which solution / in house or external, …)
    • Bel analytics community animation, within the Strategic Insights team and beyond
    • Upskilling program, culture and tool deployments, worldwide consistency and harmonization
    • Taste for change management to drive Bel more data driven
  • Global strategic analysis
    • Coordinate the company monthly business analysis report, together with local strategic insights managers (mainly automatized)
    • Be the data & analytics partner for all global functions (COMEX, sales / RGM / category team, marketing, RID) leading both yearly analysis (innovation review, category review, portfolio analysis) and punctual ad hoc analysis request
Profile / Skills
  • Education & Experience :
    • Minimum 10 years of experience and expertise as business analyst in FMCG space, with an agency experience and if possible with a FMCG company
    • Experience working with data and data providers such as Circana / Nielsen, Kantar, or loyalty cards analytic programs
    • Experience working in a multicultural, international environment / company is necessary.
    • Fluent in English
  • Technical skills :
    • Excellent analytical skills and experience manipulating large, complex datasets from multiple sources (Nielsen, IRI, etc.), coupled with solid business thinking
    • Affinity for visualizing data in a way that is relevant to answering specific business questions
    • Visualization tool familiarity is a plus
  • Soft skills :
    • Accountable, autonomous & proactive
    • Strong business acumen
    • Strongcapacity to connect the dots : Ability to translate data analysis into clear presentations with actionable insights and recommendations
    • Excellent storyteller, leveraging effective & impactful communication skills
