POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a Buyer with at least 5 years of experience, strong analytical skills, and a proactive, results-driven mindset. The role requires curiosity, a solution-oriented approach, and the ability to work autonomously. The candidate should be capable of proposing innovative approaches and collaborating with diverse stakeholders to drive success.

As part of a 2-member Group Procurement Team, you will collaborate with 17 cross-functional colleagues to manage purchasing categories mainly related to facilities management, including safety and security, cleaning, maintenance, and energy. Your role will support the procurement transformation by setting standards, sharing best practices, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. You will also contribute to negotiations to boost competitiveness, improve efficiency, and support the company's growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Contribution
  • Promote and ensure adherence to the newly implemented group purchasing policy by training and supporting country teams for effective application.
  • Establish and deploy group purchasing standards for key expense categories such as maintenance, energy, cleaning, safety, and security in collaboration with relevant departments.
Volume Bundling & Negotiations
  • Manage the supplier panel to monitor associated risks and drive optimization for improved performance and efficiency.
  • Lead group purchasing negotiations, focusing on volume bundling opportunities to maximize efficiency and cost savings.
  • Perform internal benchmarking across countries and propose competitive, innovative solutions.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives to optimize expenses and improve efficiency.
Performance Monitoring
  • Monitor and ensure a minimum contract coverage rate of 80%.
  • Monitor the budget to ensure global actual OpEx expenses stay within the annual budget, while proposing alternatives and collaborating with countries and shopping centers to find solutions.
  • Create a Purchasing Best Practices guide and a repository to support operational efficiency, enhance competitiveness, and share historical insights across teams.
  • Create a practical savings identification guideline to the purchasing and operations team.
  • Create and promote best practices focused on operational excellence and competitiveness.
Transversal Projects
  • Develop and execute training plans for the procurement team to foster continuous improvement and skill enhancement.
  • Support the selection and deployment of a new purchasing tool.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • You are a confirmed buyer, able to manage end-to-end RFP processes and handle purchasing directly, rather than acting as a support function.
  • We are looking for a true procurement professional with approximately 5 years of solid experience in indirect industrial purchasing (excluding IT and intellectual services), ideally with exposure to facility management and/or energy categories.
What we're looking for
  • Strong negotiation skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • Curious, proactive, and able to drive initiatives.
  • Autonomous in handling responsibilities with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Positive attitude and team player with a strong work ethic.
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
