YOUR MISSION & RESPONSIBILITIES AHEAD OF YOU

We are seeking a visionary and highly strategic Global Visual Merchandising Director to lead our global VM strategy and execution across all retail and wholesale channels. This role is responsible for defining the global VM vision, elevating brand storytelling at retail, and ensuring consistency and excellence across all markets. The ideal candidate combines strong creative direction with commercial acumen and operational leadership and thrives in a fast-paced, fashion-driven environment.
The position is based in Paris and will report directly to the Chief Sales Merchandising Officer

Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and implement a global VM strategy aligned with brand, retail, and commercial objectives.
  • Partner with senior leadership to ensure VM enhances brand equity, drives sales, and delivers best-in-class customer experience.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing global VM team, fostering creativity, collaboration, and operational excellence.

Brand Expression & Creative Direction

  • Own and translate brand storytelling and seasonal creative concepts into impactful, elevated and commercially effective experiences across Retail and Wholesale channels
  • Lead the preparation, curation and animation of global and regional showrooms, ensuring strong storytelling, product focus and brand elevation during market and sell-in periods
  • Oversee the design, development and production of global Visual Merchandising guidelines, toolkits and visual directives across all store formats (flagship, full-price, outlet, shop-in-shop and wholesale)
  • Ensure global creative consistency and brand expression, while enabling local relevance and market-specific adaptations in close collaboration with regional teams

Retail & Commercial Impact

  • Partner with retail, merchandising, and marketing teams to maximise commercial impact through VM initiatives.
  • Analyse KPIs and store performance data to continuously improve VM effectiveness.
  • Lead global window strategy, launch execution, and key retail moments (product launches, capsule collections, collaborations).

Operations & Execution

  • Oversee global VM calendar and manage rollout of seasonal campaigns, new store openings, and retail events.
  • Ensure efficient VM processes, tools, and training to support consistent execution in all regions.
  • Manage VM budgets, external partners, and production suppliers globally.

MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS

  • 5/8 years of experience in visual merchandising, including 3+ years in a leadership role at a premium or luxury fashion, lifestyle, or retail brand.
  • Proven experience building and executing VM strategies across multiple regions and channels.
  • Strong creative sensibility paired with commercial understanding.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence at an executive level.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with design, retail, merchandising, and marketing.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
