A global pharmaceutical company is seeking an intern for its CARE team to support the Global Value and Access function. This role involves contributing to key projects related to Health Economics and market access. Ideal candidates should possess a Master’s degree in Life-sciences, be fluent in English, and have strong analytical skills. Interns will receive a monthly reimbursement, free meals, and flexible working arrangements. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Air and Care Franchise

Within the three Business Units (Discover more here ), Air and Care Franchises are responsible for the development and implementation of the Therapeutic Area Strategies. Each Franchise is organized by stage of development with fully empowered and enhanced teams of Pipeline Development Team - focused on delivering innovation and programs leadership accountabilities in close collaboration with R&D, and Commercial Portfolio Management Team - focused on maximizing the benefit for the patients and the full potential of marketed / close-to-launch assets, including Life Cycle Management strategies.

Air and Care Franchises are also supported by the Medical Affairs, Value & Access, and Business Excellence & Customer Experience Global functions.

Within these departments, you will actively support the Air and Care Franchises businesses. These units are responsible for the development and implementation of the Therapeutic Area Strategies. Each Franchise is organized by stage of development with fully empowered and enhanced teams of Pipeline Development and Commercial Portfolio Management.

Who we are looking for
This is what you will do

We are looking for an internship within the CARE team in the Global Value and Access (GVA) function. GVA Team contributes to coordinating and steering global and multidisciplinary innovative strategies for Chiesi to excel in ensuring patient access to treatments, caring for the sustainability of the Healthcare systems while supporting Chiesi business goals, through value demonstration and partnering with payers and key stakeholders. The intern will report to the GVA CARE manager.

Key activities
  • Support for Value & Access and Health Economics key projects/activities such as Product Value Proposition, Digital Communication Tools, Outcome research studies, literature review, and desk research on new HTA models and future trends.
  • Contribute to new assets evaluations supporting the CARE GVA team.
  • Respond to the specific needs and support coming from market access affiliates.
  • Monitor the evolution of market access trends.

Also you will be involved in the day-by-day activities of the GVA team and will work in a cross-functional way with other Chiesi key teams as CARE business unit, Regions and Medical teams.

You will need to have

Master’s degree in Life-sciences, Health Economics / Economics, Health Policy. PhD, MBA or post degree in Health Economics would be a plus.

Fluent written and verbal business English is required, C1 level at least.

Strong analytical and project management skills.

Team player, strategic thinker, hands‑on approach.
