A major player in the dairy and plant-based food sector is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead innovative projects and strategies. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in CPG marketing and a solid background in project management. Fluency in English is required and French is preferred. MAIN DUTIES

Within the Babybel Global Brand Team you will contribute to the definition and execution of strategic innovations in order to develop volumes, turnover and margin. You will be directly reporting to the Global Platform Manager. You will lead innovation / renovation projects from exploration to launch stage in strong partnership with countries R&D team and factories and as an advocate for consumers.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES
Market dynamics
  • Understanding consumer needs and competitive environment in key markets
  • Understanding key market consumer category and retailer trends and recommending key business opportunities
  • Benchmarking innovations against key competitors and inspiring brands
  • Analyzing panels and obtaining new insights on innovation opportunities
Portfolio & brand strategy
  • Contribute to the vision of the top business opportunities and challenges for the brand
  • Contribute to the brand strategic plan in collaboration with the major local markets.
  • Identify the portfolio strategy on the ranges you are in charge
Positive inno‑reno
  • Lead key inno‑reno projects to ensure on time and in full delivery as planned in the Brand Strategic plan by building a strong partnership with SI R&D and factories teams to deliver the projects: build and animate cross‑functional teams and lead through non‑hierarchical management
  • Point of contact on CSR: Lead brand CSR projects including packaging changes BSR activities along with Global CSR team
  • Animate the OOH platform for the brand and liaison with local and global OOH teams
  • Ensure a close and constructive partnership with key countries to align the innovation strategy and prepare innovation launches
  • Manage innovation & renovation countries requests ensuring the strategic relevance of the requests always encouraging possible synergies and guaranteeing the P&L outcomes
  • Manage innovation budget (consulting design agencies research agencies)
Team management
  • Line management of the Assistant Brand Manager
PROFILE
  • Minimum business or marketing bachelors Degree required
  • 4-6 years of experience in CPG marketing
SPECIFIC SKILLS OR QUALIFICATIONS
Leadership skills
  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills: Drive and accelerate transformation, Dare to innovate, Unconditional collaboration, Demonstrate agility and resilience
Business & marketing skills
  • Knowledge of product value drivers (nutrition, CSR)
  • Strong data processing skills especially in the context of strategic category, retailer, competitive and consumer insights (Nielsen / IRI preferred) as well as P&L forecast and management
  • Strong project management skills in the context of innovation pipeline management: mastery of Agile methods, ability to manage complexity (number of projects and / or countries), ability to speed up the innovation pace
Language skills
  • You are fluent in English; French preferred
