A logistics company based in Paris is looking for a Project Logistics Specialist. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector, overseeing shipping documents, and coordinating transports. Ideal candidates possess a master's degree in a related field and have excellent English communication skills. Strong proficiency in Excel and SAP is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in project logistics, preferably in Oil & Gas.
• Experience in International Trade documentation required.
• Knowledge of customs regimes and export control procedures.

Responsabilités

• Preparation of shipping documents such as packing lists and invoices.
• Contact suppliers for shipment arrangements and check document accuracy.
• Organize transports according to project schedules.

Description du poste

Context

Experience minimum 3 years in project logistics, preferably Oil&Gas sector. Experience in International Trade and related documentation, i.e. letters of credit, bill of ladings.

Knowledge of customs regimes and export control procedures, incoterms, tax constraints, export / import documents.

Experience in organization of sea transportation and oversized road transports (transport exceptionnel). Working knowledge of transport laws.

Very good command of English.

Ability to work in team, good communication skills, ability to work under time pressure.

Good command of Excel and SAP.

Education

Master\'s degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management

Mission

• Preparation of shipping documents: packing list, invoices, certificate of origins.


• Contacting suppliers for shipment arrangements, checking vendors documents: packing specifications, transport and lifting concepts on transport drawings.


• Purchase of T&L services: preparing RFQs, preparing bid comparisons in respect to technical and commercial aspects, negotiating terms and conditions, issuing purchase requisitions.


• Organization of transports according to the project schedules, coordination of shipment among vendors, freight forwarders, and clients.


• Reporting delivery progress and tracking the costs. Filling the claims related to performance of transport and damages.
