A leading game development studio in Rennes is looking for a creative Game Designer to spearhead innovative game concepts for the next generation of Roblox hits. You will oversee the creation of game design documents, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and analyze player data to refine experiences. The ideal candidate should have proficiency in Unity and Unreal Engine, alongside a strong design background. This is a full-time position offering a chance to shape incredible gaming experiences.

Qualifications

We are looking for a creative visionary to join our editorial team and help us define the next generation of Roblox hits . This isnt just about making games; its about crafting experiences that millions of players will inhabit share and remember.

As our Game Designer you will be the architect of fun. From the initial spark of an idea to the final layer of polish you will lead the creative chargeturning bold concepts into fully realized Game Design Documents . Youll be the bridge between imagination and execution collaborating with other members of the ideation team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Game Ideation : Identify the next big thing and pitch compelling concepts that push the boundaries of the Roblox platform.
  • Game & Level Design : Transform high-level visions into detailed GDDs and level designs that serve as the blueprint for our development team.
  • Management : Work closely with the ideation team with Game Designers and Market Analysts to ensure that we produce the right ideas with the right timing.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with Programmers to prototype and refine mechanics. Partner with Artists to ensure visual elements enhance gameplay and narrative.
  • Game Balancing & Progression : Fine-tune systems pacing and difficulty to create that just one more round feeling.
  • Live Ops Optimization : Analyze player data funnels and KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement. Iterate on levels and features post-launch to drive retention and engagement.
