Freelance Couture Illustrator — Paris Based

We are seeking a highly experienced Couture Illustrator for freelance collaboration, based in Paris, with a deep understanding of haute couture craftsmanship, proportion, and construction.

This role is ideal for an illustrator who has worked closely with couture houses, ateliers, or luxury designers, and who can seamlessly combine hand illustration and digital refinement to support couture-level creative development.

Key Responsibilities

• Create refined couture illustrations for:
• Couture collections and presentations
• Look development and design concepting
• Atelier references and internal design communication
• Client, press, and archival materials
• Translate creative direction, sketches, and garments into elevated, accurate illustrations
• Capture couture details including:
• Embroidery, embellishment, lace, draping, and tailoring
• Fabric movement, volume, and hand
• Precise proportions and couture finishes
• Use Photoshop to:
• Refine and finalize illustrations
• Apply color, texture, and fabric effects
• Clean, adjust, and prepare visuals for presentations and production use
• Collaborate closely with designers, ateliers, and creative directors in Paris
