About the role

As Business Controller, you’ll work hand-in-hand with our CFO to provide insights that guide strategic decisions, fuel growth, and ensure we scale efficiently. You’ll be part of an international team (with 12 nationalities represented) that’s passionate about travel and innovation. Your role will be structured across three key areas: Financial Planning & Analysis, Data, and Management Controlling. You’ll be a bridge between finance and the wider organization, working closely with our teams ensuring that every decision is informed by data and aligned with our strategic goals.

The position is an onsite role based in our office in central Paris.

Your mission
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
  • Collect, analyze, and synthesize financial & operational data.
  • Build and manage financial planning processes (budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, cash-flow management).
  • Compare forecasted figures with actual results, highlight discrepancies, and analyze past financial performance.
  • Conduct regular plan reviews with relevant leaders to drive alignment and accountability.
  • Prepare competitor analyses, market trend reports, and opportunity reviews.
  • Evaluate new and existing projects & investments, providing clear recommendations.
  • Proactively identify improvements to enhance financial tracking tools & processes.
Data & Business Intelligence
  • Participate in the development of management dashboards by gathering business needs and transforming them into relevant and accurate analytics.
  • Develop and utilize financial models (short & long-term projections) to inform strategic business decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (sales, marketing, CRM, operations) to ensure data-driven insights are delivered to execution.
  • Leverage database tools such as SQL to enrich financial and operational reporting.
Management Controlling
  • Take part in monthly and quarterly financial closings, ensuring accuracy in revenue & expense reports, KPIs, and variance analyses.
  • Analyze weekly and monthly performance, identify risks to targets and forecasts, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Monitor the implementation of action plans, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Act as a trusted partner to the Head of Growth/ Head of Sales & Marketing by providing clarity on financial performance.
About you
  • You have a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • Have 3+ years of hands-on experience in business controlling.
  • You are fluent in English (written & spoken). French is a strong plus.
  • You possess strong quantitative and analytical skills, with advanced Excel proficiency (SQL/database knowledge is a plus). Be prepared to showcase your past projects.
  • You are comfortable managing stakeholders and building strong cross-team relationships.
  • You are an excellent communicator and team player with proven collaborative skills.
  • You are comfortable in fast paced environments, able to deliver accurate and timely results on close deadlines.
