A leading Fintech company in Paris seeks a Finance Data Engineer to bridge the finance-engineering gap. You will build data pipelines linking financial systems and develop data models for revenue, margin, and cost analysis. Ideal candidates have 5-8 years of experience in data engineering, strong SQL skills, and familiarity with ETL tools such as dbt and Airflow. Fluency in French and English is required. This is a hybrid role with opportunities for remote work.

Finance Data Engineer / Data Analyst – BI, ETL, data warehouse, French/English speaking

Location: Paris, France, Remote

About the Role

We’re looking for a Finance Data Engineer for one of our Fintech clients.

The role will be to bridge the gap between finance and engineering and ensure their finance team has clean data, automated access to the key business data, and enable accurate reporting for FP&A and investor needs.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain data pipelines linking financial systems with product and operational data sources.
• Develop finance‑specific data models for revenue, margin, and cost analysis.
• Automate workflows and support finance system integrations.
• Maintain governance, documentation, and quality standards for financial datasets.

Experience

• 5–8 years in data engineering, analytics engineering, or BI roles (fintech or SaaS preferred).
• Strong SQL skills and experience with ETL/ELT tools (dbt, Airflow, Fivetran).
• Familiarity with data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) and BI tools.
• Ability to translate finance requirements into technical solutions.
• Degree in computer science, data engineering, or related field.
• French and English fluency
