The ideal candidate has relevant sales experience, excellent customer skills, and is fluent in both French and English. Field Sales Account Executive (French and English speaking)

Lightspeed is looking for a Field Sales Account Executive to join our growing EMEA team. You will be implementing a strategy that requires you to have a physical presence across Paris. Each month you will drive the sales cycle from lead generation, to demonstrations, to closing deals.

Lightspeed’s Hospitality team is in hyper-growth mode. Our process has been refined and optimized; now is the time to expand our team and reach.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Converting prospects into successful customers through in-person sales methods such as door-to-door, cold calling and presentations
  • Carrying out the whole sales cycle including identifying and developing leads, meeting with clients, creating value propositions, structuring financial deals, negotiating contracts, and closing deals
  • Visiting customers regularly to identify business challenges & pain points
  • Conducting in-person demonstrations of the retail product
  • Analyzing, reporting and acting on pipeline metrics
  • Driving performance to meet monthly, quarterly and annual goals
  • Creating new business through network events

What you’ll be bringing:

  • Relevant sales experience in field and outbound environments, preferably in solution-sales/technology
  • Strong understanding of sales development best practices
  • Ability to manage time effectively
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills (listening, verbal and written)
  • Demonstrated ability to meet/exceed sales targets
  • Quantitative mindset for data-driven decisions
  • Thrives in a competitive, dynamic and quota-driven environment
  • Fluency in French and English
  • Entrepreneurial and agile mindset with bias toward action and adaptability
