Job Description

As part of the global Teledyne e2v Semiconductors Sales Team, the primary purpose of this role is to conduct technical sales activities to actively contribute to the division's growth plan within the EMEA region.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Promoting the complete Teledyne e2v Semiconductors product portfolio to existing and new prospects and projects.
  • Realizing and tracking design-in and design-win targets.
  • Driving the identification and win of New Business Opportunities (NBO).
  • Handling first-level technical support with existing customers.
  • Identifying new prospects, markets, and applications.
  • Preparing technical sales collateral to promote the portfolio and train channel partners and customers.
  • Writing and presenting technical papers at shows and conferences.
  • Providing Business Development and Technical Sales support (Pre & Post Sales).

Additional duties include:

  • Actively promoting products with a value proposition at the solution level.
  • Collaborating with sales managers, channel partners, and marketing teams to identify NBOs and secure new design activities.
  • Monitoring and tracking all design-in and design-win opportunities in CRM systems like C4 or Salesforce.
  • Collaborating with marketing to execute sales campaigns for NPIs.
  • Conducting product demonstrations to encourage adoption.
  • Providing post-sales support during system development and integration.
  • Providing technical feedback to influence product roadmaps.

Other responsibilities involve generating collateral and conference content, developing application notes, proposing and presenting papers at conferences, and participating in webinars.

Technical channel training

  • Providing training sessions for indirect channels and end-users to develop their technological capabilities.

Knowledge sharing, learning, & development

  • Staying informed about industry trends.
  • Contributing to a learning environment by sharing knowledge.

Qualifications & Competencies

  • Application engineering experience.
  • Degree in Science or Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years in engineering, application engineering, or technical sales support.
  • Experience with microprocessors, data converters, RF products is a plus.
  • Understanding of aerospace, defense, test & measurement, industrial testing, or telecommunications markets is a plus.

Communication Skills

  • Strong listening, probing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to build bridges between stakeholders and customers.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Ability to work across global and multicultural environments.
  • Proficiency in English; additional European languages are a plus.

Mobility

The role requires extensive travel throughout the region and to Teledyne locations, especially in Grenoble, France.
