An exciting opportunity exists to join the team at St Joseph's Catholic Primary School, Clermont in the position of Facilities Officer (Groundsperson). This is a term‑time continuing position for 16hpw, commencing January 2026. There will also be an opportunity for casual hours for training and handover, from November 2025.
We are seeking applicants who will contribute to the effective and efficient operation and environment of the school through a high level of personal motivation and initiative in the ongoing maintenance, beautification, and development of the school’s facilities and grounds.
Reporting to the Principal, this role performs daily grounds and maintenance tasks including minor repairs and maintenance of school building and surrounds, gardening and grounds beautification and various other tasks as required.

The successful applicant will have relevant experience and an understanding of, and a commitment to, the ethos of Catholic Education. In addition, you will have excellent time‑management skills and well‑developed interpersonal skills.
