Role Description

This is a remote, contract role for an English Tutor. The English Tutor will be responsible for conducting online tutoring sessions, providing personalized support to learners, and creating lesson plans tailored to individual needs. Tasks include teaching English grammar and communication skills, facilitating interactive sessions, and helping students prepare for English proficiency exams like IELTS and TOEFL. The tutor will also provide feedback to students, track their progress, and create a positive and engaging learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in English Teaching, Online Tutoring, and one-on-one or group tutoring
• Proficiency in English Grammar and the ability to teach communication skills effectively
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to create a supportive and motivating learning environment
• Proficiency with online learning tools and platforms
• Experience preparing students for standardized English exams (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL) is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field; certification in ESL or language teaching is advantageous
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines and maintaining flexibility
