About the Role

You will join a dedicated R&D initiative developing a wireless link module enabling robust and reliable data transmission between a drone and its base station. As the Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining software systems running on the UAV platform, ensuring high performance, scalability, and fault tolerance in real-time environments.

Responsibilities
  • Configure, maintain, and optimize the embedded operating system for UAV platforms, ensuring real-time responsiveness and reliability

  • Design and implement a scalable and modular embedded software architecture that supports future feature expansion and robust fault handling

  • Develop, test, and debug low-level drivers for various onboard sensors and peripherals

  • Integrate real-time algorithms and data flows in close collaboration with the Algorithmic and Hardware teams

  • Enhance and maintain telemetry and communication systems for drone-ground station data exchange

  • Conduct performance profiling, debugging, and continuous optimization to meet latency and power constraints

  • Contribute to system-level debugging and field testing with other R&D teams.

Candidate Requirements
  • Education: Engineering school graduate or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field

  • Experience: 2–5 years of experience developing embedded software, ideally in robotics, drones, aerospace, or automotive industries

  • Languages: Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Python

  • Tools & Practices: Familiarity with build systems, embedded toolchains, version control, and CI workflows

  • Problem-Solving: Ability to work autonomously and solve complex technical challenges.

  • Communication & Influence: Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of leading diverse principals – from junior members to senior executives.
