The Electrical Development Center is responsible for developing electrical products (harnesses & cubicles) from detailed design to serial production. Located in TOULOUSE, we are seeking a Manager of EDC activities covering the industrial scope. This role includes managing a team of “Operations Leaders” dedicated to industrial & manufacturing phases of electrical products and supporting the deployment of the NEO model according to the PIO strategy defined by Central Operations.

Responsibilities
  1. For the OPL team:
  • Ensure proper positioning of OPL and scope of responsibility, adaptable to train project organization changes (PDO/PIO)
  • Ensure electrical products (harnesses and cubicles) are produced on time and in the required configuration for pre-series, considering retrofit phases
  • Contribute to EDC process improvements and capitalization
  • Promote EDC working methods and understanding of electrical product development
  • For the Industrial Performance team:
    • Define industrial assumptions (PIO, MoB) aligned with industrial Reflib and EDC strategy
    • Deploy retrofit organization according to strategy
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives
    • Implement industrial activities within the EDC project organization
    • Contribute to standards development (e.g., SML/SMP) through Alstom Operations network
    • Participate in TMS onboarding to the NEO model
    Profile
    • Engineering degree
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, methods, or manufacturing engineering within a similar industry
    • Minimum 5 years of team management experience
    • Fluent in English and French
    Experience
    • Background in industrial and manufacturing sectors
    • Experience working in international, multi-site, and matrix organizations
    • Conflict management and multi-tasking skills
    • Proactive with issue anticipation abilities
    • Ability to prioritize and work effectively under pressure
    • Experience with electrical components, electrical product development, wiring, etc., is essential
